This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 18, 2007:
there is no easy way
to many thoughts, beliefs, or illusions get in the way
better to say
whats the best way to approach happiness
i think we first can realize that each moment is a opportunity to be happy.
knowing that each moment is fleeting, we give it our full attention.
practicing openness and mindful action, we can grow from these transient episodes (hopefully moving us further along on our path.)
respecting that the moment ends. honoring it by letting it go as it came.
discovering that there is wisdom in all things, paying attention to the unseen as well as seen in silent mediation.
embracing ourselves when we reach our purest self.
understanding that all we must know, give, and be is love.
the fruitation of this process is our unending happiness.
and we are thereby happy.
anyone experience this ???

Openarms,
I love your wise insight. I get to this place and yet have been unable to hold it for very long. The moments in love and happiness are beyond bliss :) Gosh, to have this all the time!
hugs and sunkissed peaches,
Sprite
when i bog myself down with wanting things to remain, i realize that it is not the moment but the feeling i desire and that is when i understand that the feeling is with me always… enjoying its surface is the same as learning from its lesson and that is something that is always with us… in us… we never have to hold it; it is always there. i know this to be true of you because i see it in your words, pictures, and ideas… you are happiness not the moment :)
Yes, yes, that's it! “when i bog myself down with wanting things to remain,” so this is the piece I was missing “i realize that it is not the moment but the feeling i desire and that is when i understand that the feeling is with me always”
Thank you for seeing things that aren't always apparent to me :) “i know this to be true of you because i see it in your words, pictures, and ideas… you are happiness not the moment :)” Sometimes I get stuck in the minutia :-D
Here at zaadz we often share our appreciation of and with one another :) yet in our physical worlds, we may not. In case you haven't seen this, over at Happiness' blog she has a link about appreciation, http://camphappiness.zaadz.com/blog/2007/11/appreciation_-today#comments
I can come back here and read your words anytime I may be feeling a bit down for a pick me up and reminder of who I am!!!!!!!!!
Love, hugs and strawberry delight,
Sprite
i love you, too!!
Yes, that's my kind of happiness too!
Hugs and love to you,
Mila
